If it's not in your Mobile Me calendar I would be a bit concerned.
The new calendar is much more stable in my experience – but it treats the cloud as the original – with the computer, ipad, etc just being clients that can sync new events back. That would be the easiest way to get them back I think.
If they're NOT on Mobile Me online site and on the i Pad only then that might be your only copy of your calendar, as i Pad didn't support some aspects of your mobile me calendar before 4.2 (like push)I was in the calendar beta, where we had to use a different log in to sync the i Pad. Otherwise there was a thread on the apple support forum that may help.
Thanks logging out then back in and choosing merge fixed it for me.
Prior to the latest update, I enjoyed flawless, seamless calendar integration across my desktop and laptop computers, i Phone, and i Pad.
I could enter an appointment on any device and know that it would show up immediately on all the other devices.
Now, in retrospect, the and just delete the Mobile Me account from my i Cal configuration. But then this morning I sat down at my computer and discovered — to my horror — that was gone.
At some point yesterday, when I wasn’t looking, Mobile Me and i Cloud synced up, and deleted all of my events. I opened up my Time Machine backup from yesterday afternoon…
Resources Read the Apple Support Discussions thread regarding i Cal not syncing properly with Mobile Me.
I’ve been relying on Mobile Me for a little over a year to keep my mail, notes and calendars (mostly) in sync.
But without a doubt the biggest issue for me personally has been related to i Cal.
The first thing the update does is pointlessly duplicate all your existing calendars, so that you have double listings of all events.
To stop that nuisance, you have to choose which version of each calendar to stop displaying: the new one hosted at Mobile Me, or the “old” one that is locally cached on all machines and is in the fact the same thing.
